Experienced Real Estate: a blog about the twin cities market

Yes, the Assistant needs a name. Calling her “Assistant” is not going to cut it on those days when she is:
    • helping you close with four clients – two of whom are out of town and trying to orchestrate moving themselves and their children across country,
    • dealing with a listing agent who is insisting that $100 is worth threatening the nearly done deal on a $380,000 home and calls every two hours to remind you of this,
    • managing five listings – one of which is 3 suburbs/towns away and vacant,
    • keeping the persnickety office equipment working – the computer that refuses to turn on, the loudest fax machine in the known universe, the copier that refuses to print labels or photos whenever you need them right now,
    • cultivating and courting potential leads via the web,
    • And, yes she likes to eat, sleep and see her family on occasion.

This woman needs a better name. And, if looking at the above list you think, “Hmmm, she appears a wee bit super human.” Then you are on the right track.

I’m thinking something along the lines of
Miracle Worker? This brings to mind Annie Sullivan and Helen Keller.
Goddess of Real Estate? A bit too much power perhaps?
The Wind Beneath your wings? A bit too long “winded.”

Wonder Woman? Well it is a bit cliché and I don’t have the gold bracelets…but I like the simplicity of it.

You can call me Wonder for short if you like.
