Macalester-Groveland, or Mac-Groveland as it is often called, is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Saint Paul.

The neighborhood is named after Macalester College and Groveland Elementary, a testament to how highly residents value education. This academic neighborhood is home to students, professors and young professionals who never want to leave the area after college! Demographics show that the majority of the population holds at least 1 college degree and many hold post graduate degrees.

Charming shops and restaurants dot the area. Some of the few locally owned grocery stores and drug stores are within walking distance for most residents, a point of pride for many residents.
