Like St. Anthony Park in St. Paul, Linden Hills was a little village at the turn of the century. Boundaries of Linden Hills are Lake Calhoun to the north, Lake Harriet to the east, a line from the south shores of Lake Harriet west to Zenith Avenue, the last street of 'the first set of alphabets" (a charming and helpful Minneapolis tradition of putting all the streets in alphabetical order.)
